How It Works
How do taxes work with Savage & Palmer?
Since we handle operations end to end for a majority of our customers, we make payments on behalf of our customers once the funds are transferred to us. Receipts for every tax payment are made readily available.
How does pricing work?
Our pricing works as a simple monthly subscription. We endeavour to be cheaper than an in-house team, however all prices are based on the size and scale of your operations. See our pricing page for more details and to get a custom quote.
Is support included? Can I ask questions?
Yes! Support is included as part of your plan — no extra fees to worry about. Your dedicated account manager is happy to answer any questions you might have. We strive to address questions in a day or less.
What companies is Savage & Palmer suited for?
Generally, our customers are International companies entering India, Family Businesses & Startups. Our smallest client has about 5 employees and our largest over 3000. We think Savage & Palmer is a great match for any company looking to professionalise their Accounting & Finance operations and looking to derive more value from their MIS reports. Do you charge hourly fees if I have questions or need help?
No, there are no extra fees for asking questions – in fact, we encourage it. Your monthly plan price covers everything.
How do prices change as I grow? Will my plan price keep changing every month?
We understand the importance of predictability. Your prices won’t fluctuate every month. While our pricing is based on monthly expenses, there are only price changes on a yearly basis to adjust for increments and if there is a change in the scale or scope of work.
How should I calculate my monthly expenses? What does that include?
Expenses are all of the money your company spends each month, including payroll. If a large percentage of your expenses are cost of goods sold (COGS), reach out to us and we can craft a custom quote.
Why do you price based on expenses?
Our goal is simple and transparent pricing. In examining different models, we found that expenses closely reflected business complexity while also having the advantage of being simple to calculate.
What is your cancellation policy? What if I prepaid for the year?
We want you to work with Savage & Palmer because you’re happy with the service, not because you signed a contract. You can cancel anytime with a two month notice period, however we have an initial 3 month lock in period with new customers.
If I prepay for a year, does that lock in my price?
Prepaying can reduce your costs because Savage & Palmer won’t change your plan price until your monthly expenses jump up by at least two pricing tiers or your bookkeeping complexity increases significantly. This is something that can be discussed on a case to case basis by reaching out to us.
